Alexander Technique

The Alexander Technique is concerned with the ways in which our minds, brains, muscles and bones are organised to provide grounded support while we engage actively with the world.

Lessons with an Alexander Teacher are an enquiry into the nature of that support, and an opportunity to learn how our habitual attitudes and postures may leave us ungrounded and less able to live or work comfortably and successfully.

A series of Alexander lessons can help you develop a deeper appreciation of what it means to be well supported. This awareness enables you to engage in activities, ranging from the simplest to the most complex, with greater ease and effectiveness.
